Blue Ridge Canopy is located in the heart of beautiful Wintergreen in Virginia, which has tons to do for all ages, year-round. We are just a few minutes’ drive to the slopes and all the dining and entertainment at Wintergreen. Some of the best hiking trails in the state are off the Blue Ridge Parkway (15 minutes from the home), plus there are other great trails just down the street. Also nearby are two sandy-beach-entrance lakes plus a community pool for swimming, and over dozen wineries, breweries, and distilleries- all within a 30 minute drive. The house has 6 bedrooms and 6.5 bathrooms across three levels, laid out as follows: Main level: - Living room with a vaulted cedar ceiling, floor-to-ceiling stone gas fireplace, TV and walls of windows into the trees. The sofa facing the fireplace pulls out to a queen bed - Two dining tables that seat 8 and 4, plus 4 stools at the kitchen bar - Fully stocked kitchen: pro-style range, butcher-block island, granite counters, and a coffee station with drip and Keurig machines - Lounge with a second stone gas fireplace, card table, window seat, and a balcony with Adirondack chairs. There are games and books available in lounge bookshelf - BR3: Queen bed, en-suite bath with walk-in shower - BR4: King bed, and a door out to the deck. Jack & Jill bath shared with BR5 (dual sinks, walk-in shower) - BR5: King bed, Jack & Jill bath shared with BR4 - Half bath Upper level: - BR1 (primary suite): King bed, electric fireplace, TV, coffee bar with mini fridge, walk-in closet, private balcony, and an en-suite bath with jetted tub, walk-in shower and dual sinks - BR2: King bed, sitting area with TV, en-suite bath with walk-in shower - Office and workout nook: desk with monitor, Peleton bike, weights and a queen pull-out sofa -Full hall bath with tub and shower, just outside the office area Lower level: - Family room with a big sectional, large TV, bean bags and a cast-iron wood stove - BR6 (bunk room): 4 twin beds in 2 bunks, TV, and the "Blue Ridge Canopy Arcade"! Step back in time and relive the golden age of gaming.
